Members of the San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water Authority thank Senator Feinstein and Congressman Costa for their November 27th letter to Secretaries Jewell and Pritzker encouraging the Secretaries to personally engage in 2014 California water supply issues and to exercise the “significant policy discretion” available in implementing the remanded biological opinions that so severely constrain operations of the Central Valley and State Water Projects. Signatories to the letter include water managers that serve agricultural, urban, and environmental interests.
